Alright, alright, I'll be your guinea pig if you insist.

...oh, and see, the problem with this system is that I wouldn't pay a dime for it. How can something that you do on a computer and never have to even leave home for help someone with anxiety? For one it's the exact opposite of what someone with social anxiety needs. I assume this is geared toward people suffering from several anxiety conditions, but I don't know many of people who suffer from anxiety of any kind when they are sitting at home on the computer. This system is counter-productive... it just ends up being a crutch for people even if you do give good suggestions for them to follow. If you follow through with this you are just ripping people off.

I don't want to take the survey but as one who has the same problem I can tell you that I find relief by sitting in a comfortable position, try to relax my muscles and do deep breathing exercises. It really helps a lot.

Good Grief! Took one look at that complicated system--and even on medication, wouldn't tackle it. I went through most of my life with a gut-ache of anxiety that would almost double me over. Years of therapy and finally got onto Celexa which has given me great relief!! I d/k, but think that very early rigid child rearing can create a kind of "automatic response" to life. Good Luck with your study!

no, none of the herbal pills like valerian and st. john's wort do very much to improve anxiety. sleep aids just make you drowsy, but don't make you less anxious. If anything had the same effect as xanax, it wouldn't be over the counter in the US

you might try overseas online pharmacies.

Xanax and Valium are both in the benzodiazepines family. There is an herb you can purchase called Valerian which is the herb that Valium is derived from. This herb can be brought OTC.

The only thing I can think of would be something that may put you to sleep, like Benadryl. I would not advise taking that though if you plan on driving or operating machiniery or anything like that. Otherwise, there is nothing OTC for anxiety and I don't think there ever will be.
